100% family owned, the Company distributes the product lines to more than 1000 customers, in 50 Countries worldwide.

Our Research & Development has engineered innovative products, which have become important in the evolution of the Pulp & Paper Industry.

Some of the technologies widely used nowadays, like the first seamed press fabric (US Pat no.569040, 1956), the first microwave consistency meter (2005), or the first spiral link fabric in corrugator belts (2004), have been introduced to the market for the first time by our Company.

The high quality standards of Cristini's products have earned the appreciation and trust of many highly competitive markets.

Eco sustainability

Responsability for the environment is a global concern, and Cristini S.p.A is committed to respect any and all regulations in this regard.

Today, it is everybody's duty to combine product quality with respect for the environment. With this is mind, Cristini S.p.A has for many decades, used a closed wastewater recycling system, and chosen chemicals with the lowest environmental impact.

Atmospheric emissions and GHG (Green House Effect Gas) are constantly controlled and reduced to meet government standars.

Only by respecting nature today, will tomorrow's generations have the chance to enjoy it in the future.

Milestones in Cristini history:

1801	Fourdrinier was granted British patent 2487 on 20 October 1801
1823	Luigi Cristini started an industrial activity for the transformation of woolen felts in Marone
1848	Pietro Bombardieri started an industrial production of woolen felts and blankets in Fiorano al Serio
1895	Luigi Cristini's sons Andrea, Giovanni & Rocco founded in Marone Cristini Bros & C.
1914	Giuseppe Cristini purchased Soc. Francesco Fogliardi (previously Soc. Pietro Bombardieri) to add production capacity to the family company Cristini Bros & C. S.A. Giuseppe Cristini was born
1953	A catastrophic flood devastated the village of Marone. The Cristini Bros & C. plant suffered huge damages. The majority of the workers were then employed in the Fiorano al Serio plant.
1956	Cristini deposited in US and several Countries the world's first patent for seamed press fabric
1989	Installation of world's first projectile loom for the production of dryer fabrics
1994	First ISO Insurance Quality Registration
1997	Cristini North America new plant started Carrier Ropes and spiral link dryer fabrics production
1997	Real triple layer Forming Fabric (TrioTwin™ generation)
1998	First forming fabric production unit in Wien, Austria
1999	Start-up of the Diagnostic Systems development project
2001	Installation of heat-setting equipment up to 14 wide
2003	Application of spiral fabrics on corrugator belts
2009	Development of PermFlowDUO™, world's first portable moisture & permeability meter
2010	FiberScan™, world's first microwave consistency meter
2011	Advanced SSB Forming Fabric (MaxiFlyer™)
2011	World speed record for 24h production on 80g/m² 100% recycle packaging grade is broken at 1650 m/min with 100% Cristini press fabrics
2011	New ESB Forming Fabric (Essential™ generation)
2014	World Speed Record for 24h production on 77g/m² 100% recycle packaging grade is broken at 1680 m/min with 100% Cristini Press Fabrics, allowing an impressive 96,6% machine efficiency.
2014	100 Years Young! The Cristini name is present in the paper industry since 100 years.
