Metallic Wires
DuraSteel™ offers expertise developped and focused on board making applications.
All stainless steels grades used to produce DuraSteel™ metallic wires are from the AISI 316 L families for a high corrosion resistance.
For bottom wires, the planarity of DuraSteel™ is a key parameter for a good paper sheet construction and a long life on machine.
The top wire ranging from 33 to 71 Mesh is tuned in relation with the production speed.
Based on the microplasma welding technology, DuraSteel™ welding is free of inclusions, increasing corrosión resistance, to obtain a mechanically perfect welding, absolutely free of seaming marking.
DuraSteel™ is designed for the forming cylinders in front of the long board making felt; dedicated to heavy packaging grades.
