SoftLite No matter what Yankee configuration, from flat fourdriniers, Crescent Formers to twin wires, SOFTLITE is the best combination of dewatering capacity and retention.

Operational Properties

SoftLite is the new forming fabric developed by Cristini for tissue and towel grades.
Produced on our dedicated looms it is a very compact design, providing high water handling capacity with low void volume.
This structure has a very high dewatering capacity and, at the same time, a very high fiber support index.

The high FSI is the reason that SoftLite provides the highest level of sheet side planarity.
The high number of pattern repeats is an additional reason that SoftLite has the best planarity during fabric life with steady-state drainage, even when using very thin yarns.

Applications

SoftLite is recommended in all tissue grades.
No matter what Yankee configuration, from flat fourdriniers, Crescent Formers to twin wires, SoftLite is the best combination of dewatering capacity and retention, a must for obtaining the highest sheet quality and softness.
